The Cushman School is Miami-Dade’s oldest continuously operating private school that offers a holistic approach to education in an environment that is both joyful and ambitious. Established in 1924, Cushman consists of a charming mix of renovated and new buildings spread in a historic pocket of international Miami. The non-denominational school offers challenging academics with multiple sports, performing arts offerings, numerous clubs and many enrichment opportunities for a diverse population of approx. 800 students from pre-school through twelfth grade. Cushman is known for its rich traditional heritage, a culture of camaraderie and warmth, its unique Society and Me (SAM) curriculum and for inspiring strength of character in its students.
