I provide a specialized tutoring service which goes above and beyond what a traditional school or homework tutor is equipped to offer. This explicit research-based teaching for reading and spelling restores hope, self-esteem and builds self-confidence. I specialize in children who struggle with reading and especially spelling. My students can all read (up to a point), yet they have great difficulty sounding out an unknown words - despite being taught phonics.
