Pink Pig
Private university
About
Once a fully-functioning pig sty during its early days on Squire Valleevue Farm, the Pink Pig was later converted into a cozy meeting space by Flora Stone Mather College for Women, after the property was gifted to Western Reserve University (now known as Case Western Reserve University) by Andrew Squire. Remnants of the pig sty remain, such as two little pig doors that are sealed but still visible. One pig door was removed to add a stone fireplace. The kitchen also displays several pig-shaped cutting boards that farm workers made from the original wooden boards. Reservations are permitted by members of the CWRU community for educational usage only. No outside or private event reservations permitted.
